St Pius X is a co-educational Catholic primary school which caters for students from Pre-Kindergarten (3 Year Old Kindy) to Year 6.

With Christ and our students at the centre, our school community works collaboratively to educate and develop the whole child – emotionally, spiritually, socially, cognitively, and physically. Our enthusiastic, dedicated staff are committed to employing current evidence-based teaching practices to ensure the needs of all students are met in a supportive, engaging learning environment. Explicit learning intentions, detailed success criteria and immediate, specific teacher feedback empower students to take ownership of their learning. Students regularly participate in inquiry-based STEM projects and have access to a wide range of resources including robotics kits, iPads, Apple computers, virtual reality goggles and Maker-Space materials.

At St Pius X Catholic School, students participate in specialist classes including Science, STEM, Music, Physical Education and Italian. Everyday learning opportunities are enhanced through an extension program, literacy support via the MiniLit program, instrumental music lessons through external providers, student leadership opportunities, swimming lessons, camp experiences and sustainability projects.
